    Iku, I wasn't talking about a new species, so much as an existing species that may be under-populated. Remember, algae grows EVERYWHERE, and so there are fish that eat it EVERYWHERE, so it shouldn't be too hard to find a local population that you could farm and feed off a controlled flow of runoff-fed algae... I think.

    Well, kinda yes. I have never liked it is called fish pudding but it is more or less just white fish and mashed potatoes. Actually one of the things that I have pondered giving a second chance as an adult.

    That's exactly why I bring it up now. This is a major development, and considerable evidence of man's over-reach and the (likely irreparable) damage we're doing to the world. And no one brings it up, no one seems to notice or care (I mean this in the general sense, not people here). That is enormously troubling to me.
