Books, books and more books. Everyone seemed to get me books this year for Christmas and my 'very soon after' birthday.

    So here goes:

    - The History of Britain Part 1 both by that Simon someone bloke from the telly
    - The History of Britain Part 2
    - High Fidelity
    - About a Boy both by Nick Hornby. Unfortunately I alreeady have High Fidelity and was hoping fo the latest one but it's not a big deal.
    - Murray Walker's Autobiography (I'm reading it now)

And then with vouchers and to treat myself and to get away from just books I picked up
    - The History of Britain Part 3 (well you have to have the full-set)
    - The Great Britains (based on the recent series that had the whole country debating and being saddened that we are so stupid as a nation as to vote Diana in the top ten)
    - The Hobbit - an illustrated version
    - Essential Spiderman Vol 5 - couldn't find the earlier volumes but will read this and order the rest via Amazon if I enjoy it (PS I blame my interest in reliving my youth in the game Freedom Force more than the recent film (fear my Super Slappy character), though I did really enjoy that too).

It wasn't all books though. My sister also got me the Special Edition Lord of The Rings DVD, which was nice.

    :)

I got Silmarillion for christmas. And I couldn't be happier, one of the better presents for sure(so boring to get old, usually you just get **** presents like socks, neckties and things for the house(want to be a child again))

By the way Taluntain, what do you mean by "directly via the SP item links or banners". Is it enough that I access amazon through SP when buying something. What I mean is, does it matter if I cruise around amazon a little before buying something?

[IMG] Not at all, as long as you enter Amazon via a link on SP initially.
