What character would you be in BG2

I'd have to be a paladin, no doubt about it. Passion for making wrongs right, that's me.

 

I'd be a straight-up kensai. I love the idea of a "sword saint" although I'd pick a different weapon. I kinda like the idea of a "halbred saint". Has a cool ring to it huh?

 

I would love to be a mage. Set some poeple on fire, or just power word:silence some teachers and turn some people into squrriels.

 

A skald, I guess. (I suppose I should be trying to follow in the footsteps of me forefathers and their fathers, yes?)

Either that or a Spectator Beholder, or something. (I tend to be summoned by people to do "very important, very urgent" tasks, but end up waiting endlessly for something to actually happen when I get there)

 

i would be a sorcerer/fighter if i had my way with things. i dunno, i'd probably stun 'em and then kick thier asses.

 

Have you tried this one;make an ordinary fighter/mage(dual-classed of course)and use Shadow-Keeper to change character looks to mage. It looks awesome when man with mage robe swings two katanas. You might know this, but those who didn't, do this!

I think I would be a Kensai, hack 'n slash my way to the big bad guy, leading the enemy army, killing him with one of those weird moves, like "sunrise meets moonblade on the water" 'n stuff. (If you read Robert Jordan's: Wheel of Time, you understand what I mean, if you didn't: don't bother...)

As I said in another thread, I'd be a battle cleric - weilding an axe. Too bad they aren't allowed to weild axes... I'm too chaotic to be a paladin.

 

I'd be one of the guys in Haer'dalis theater, cause we would get around the most..

If we were talking about what would actually reflect my real life character, I would end up being a gnomish cleric. Does 3E have gnomish tinkerers? That would fit my mentality even better...

Yeah the monks great ( i got bbelt in taekwondo) but his face looks like hes been hit in the face with the scullcrusher. i saw a shadow thief do a great roundhouse!

 

Man obviously a blade. Offensive spin kicks ass. Just go in there slash run away slash run away etc.

 

umm..either a shadow theif (ones in the red hats) or bernard..cos he has the nice lookin waitresses don't he hur hur hur...

This is a kick**s book (SF) - read it and you'll want to be Shrike from that book.

 

There is no specific Tinkerer class or kit yet that I know of, but ...

The Rogue class gets all kinds of skill points that they can spend on almost anything they want (not just thieving skills), so it is easy to imagine a gnomish rogue with lots of points in knowledge, engineering and craft, tinker for example. (The DM would have to come up with rules to fit these particular skills, a would think an Int based roll to design an object, and a dex based roll to create it.) With a creative DM one could play a very interesting character that way.
