"Cheating is cheating. You know who you are"

Yep. I'm a cheater, cut-and-dry. There's absolutely no question when I cheat. Other than "How did you manage to do *THAT*?!??!" when the game locks up because I gibb one of the quest-vital-NPC's too quickly.

On a little side note, it is possible to gibb Lothar...

 

But whats the point? What is the point of taking the fun out of a game? The challenge? The skill? The moneys worth? There is none. It is for those that are too weak willed.

 

It doesn't take the fun out of the game, and if you have complted the game time and time again using the cheats can put the challenge back into it, eg. summoning more creatures during the Sarevok battle or using the jump keys to get into the centre of things, not that it is an excuse as most cheating is just sad but to each their own and how you play is your own descision, cheats can be for the weak willed but can be used otherwise.

 

More challenging by adding in more summons? Isn't that ment to make killing a target alot more easier? And yes you are right, it is up to those on wether they cheat or not. But like i said (or implied) one gains more satisfaction by finishing/playing a game 'legitimately'

The first five times I played I never cheated

 

I never cheat. uner any circumstances. I think it spoils the game. Simple.

 

ok, ´when i have explored the whole maps there is still som unreachable areas that is black. I use explore area then, because it looks bether. I used shadow keeper much playing TDD, because i lost stuff all the time without reason, and I wanted it back.

Some times i play dungeon master (not with my real save file) Using cheats to place npcs, items, and creatures on the map, and then let my friend finifh it...fun

A few times in MP i used my almost undefeatable silver dragon, with 20000 hp, -25 av -155 thac0, 255 in all resistance, and powerfull spells, and breath weapons....
Thought it was fun slaughtering peaple in duels on the net, but i would never do that during the game.

These cheats i consider OK.

 

Making your own weapons is cheating? I don't think so! Making weapons is editing! There is always a change to miss with your home made weapons!

Making and changing ingame things, puts you to another challenge, so I have nothing against it.

 

ok lets put it this way . . i wouldnt use cheats unless i beat the game alrweady . and lets see the time i used cheats i beat the final boss with just my one fighter with out getting half damaged so dragonider skywardyou say you have 3 lev 20 people i beat the game with 1 lev 20 person... think on it

 

I don't believe in cheating until you've already proven you can go through the game atleast once normally.

Shadows...thinking...ok ya that's great. My only problem is that I get board with games quite easily. So I cheat to keep the fun in it.

 

I sometimes will do that to as long as it isn't because you can't beat the game normally.

 

Why do you need to cheat?? There are only a couple of bits that are major problems! Once you've completed it once and start again with a high level character its easy enough anyway!!
Cheats are ok if you are really stuck and want to find out how to do something, but ya gotta go back and do it again without cheating. Otherwise you're as low down as that Fusion Jelly.
