I am playing Final Fantasy XII. So far the story and gameplay have been pretty good.

The one thing that I really think they could have done better is giving the characters specialized skills/abilities. They start off with a few different skils but with the way the skill progression works this doesn't last long and quite quickly you can end up with several characters with virtually identical skills/abilities.

I think my post in RBP sums up my position towards Half-Life 2 pretty accurately

If Dark Messiah's a shooter-style game, then I'll be avoiding it. I'll just pray Ubisoft decides to release a real M&M RPG before I get grey hair.

I'm playing Final Fantasy 12 and Oblivion. I agree with the polar bear about the characters specialized skills/abilities problem. With the licenses angle you end up giving a lot of your characters the same needed skills. I'm actually visually trying to fill each character at a different corner of the board but they do all have the same magic abilities.

I also play the sims2 once in a while but I can't play that game very often because it gets pretty monotonous.

Agreed, although it would defeat the purpose of what I think their new "theme" is. I guess they want everyone to be "playable" as opposed to other FF games where there was always a "crappy" character nobody wanted. Still, I too would've preferred specialized and useful skills

My FF playing time has stalled. Aside from time restrictions by my internship, it now shares gametime with my 5'5" NFL superstar mode QB in Madden '07 (yeah, that's me ;) ) and a new Fifa'07 plan.

I lose interest way too fast when I start with my fave teams (only play on professional difficulty though) because they get too strong too fast, so I've started over. I'm planning to tour leagues now before settling down on one team. My last playthrough was to take Juve (down but not out!) back into Serie A then I lost interest again. Right now I'm in season 1 again playing in one of the crap English leagues are Crewe, after my first season, I will tour, following the places I went to Europe in last year. I will be Copenhagen in the Danish leage, PSG in the French league and probably Roma in the Italian league. Does anyone know where the Lufthansa hub is in Germany? It was only a stop-over but I will consider it and choose that team ;) Was it Frankfurt? or Hamburg?

Anyone else still playing Fifa'07 as well? Barmy?

Morrowind. I haven't really played enough to come up with a firm judgement, but it seems that it might be enjoyable to wander around exploring the world. Combat and dialogue system seems to suck though.

I think the keep in NWN2 is actually what the sudden interest in AoE2.
