  2. Gopher, the only way you can have Wildmages, is with TOB installed..no other way.. and Wildmages are TOB material, and therefore not allowed in SOA forum

How about a Illusionist Gnome. Even better would be a Archer Dualed to a mage but unfortuanly you cannot do that. Even better a Gnome Archer dualed to a Mage. But again It wont let me. Maybe ill just have to create my own kit.........

[IMG] Cavaliers are hideously powerful, best teamed with the just as formidable archer, both are best as halflings of course. Kensais, avengers and sorcerers are pretty impressive, fighter-mages and mage-thieves are nice, just like skalds ... however, no char beats out the classic pure halfling thief :)

[IMG] I am with those who have suggested a party of all clerics. Anomen initially teed me off early in the game & I could hardly wait till the end of his quests. However, once his attitude changed after the quests and he acquired some cool spells he really is the most well-round NPC in my party, not to mention the most improved. I could see a party of clerics, with possibly one thief of any specialty, doing well in the game.

I'm currently running my first barbarian through the game. While it's not necessarily my favorite class (yet), I've got to say that I love the way he streaks across the screen when he's wearing boots of speed. He's so fast the graphics even look a little jumpy! This kind of speed could be very useful in my guerilla-style skirmishing.
