What's better? Graphics or the story?

    [​IMG] I think Big B sumed it up nicely. Graphics are good but the story make or breaks the game. I play a lot of old games that have bad graphics - atleast by today's standards - but they have great stories. I can't remember playing an old game with good graphics and a bad story, just no replay value.

    I think a game is too big when it is too big for it's own good. In other words, it can't handle itself. For example a game is so large there is no continuity just random things thrown together to make up space. Here is where bigger isn't better. But that doesn't mean we don't wish our favorite games would be bigger.

    Exactly.. and daggerfall would be a prime example of a game too big for its own good. Which resulted in a storyline that was close to impossible to follow if you didn't use a walkthrough, zillions of bugs and so forth. I have high hopes for Morrowind though. It looks amazingly good. Oops, I guess I am a graphics nut after all.
