    Hmm, I might try to turn that EAX thing back on. I have turned down all the graphics options to make it run smoother. I have the patch and am eagerly awaiting a new one.

    Be sure to download the latest drivers at Nvidia.com I had the same problem until I updated my Geforce 4200 Ti

    Drivers are updated. I have pretty much done everything I can do, the rest is up to Bioware. Apparently my problems arent very large compared to what some others have which I have noticed by reading the official boards. A friend of mine got the game at the same time I did and he have pretty much the same problems I have.

    Is there an official Pazaak tournament? A few characters mention it, but I see nothing about one beyond that.

    Nah, no official pazaak tournament. There is a dude on that spacestation who plays for 500 a game. If you beat him a bunch of time you get a discount on his really nice stuff. Otherwise pazaak just isnt worth it. No matter what Bioware may say it is stacked heavily against the player. Nor is it very fun, you never get any xp for it either. Neither podracing nor pazaak are really worth your time.

    Actually, winning the Tatooine pod races can be very beneficial, since the racing scrips sell for an ungodly amount on the Yavin space station. I believe I've made around 15,000 credits after I sold all of my winnings, simply from three races. And, if you keep at it, it's not terribly difficult.
