    Steve Roach, Kevin Braheny and Tangerine Dream? Great artists, Chandos! Ever listened to Michael Stearns, Robert Rich or Patrick O'Hearn? Also Jeff Pearce is good if you like good, spacey slide guitar. Ever listen to the Hearts of Space radio show on NPR?

    Dins - I listen to all those artists with the exception of Pearce (but I will check him out, since you recommend him). Yes, but it has been a few years since I've tuned into the "Hearts of Space." Great stuff. Robert Rich tends to be a bit dark, even for this type of music. I have his "A Troubled Resting Place" collection. It could be a good soundtrack for a Steven Erikson novel - It's that dark! O'Hearn played with the 80s group, Missing Persons. It's hard to believe it's the same guy.

    I like Jonn Serrie also, but in small doses. Flightpath is one of his better efforts, and an early one, iirc. I also like Ixlandia, A Midsummer Century and Tingri.

    The Derek Trucks Band - Songlines. My friend turned me on to this guy. His music is reminiscent of the Allman Brothers.
