On book three of the Whyte "Dream of Eagles" series (which is also apparently known as the Camulod Chronicles) -- I like the story, the sex is gratuitous, though.

As for Pratchett, I'm a huge fan, I can't wait for his next book -- anyone know when that'll be?

    Just finished Bridge to Terabithia.

Just started on Philip K. Dick's collected stories Second Variety. I love Second Variety. To think that this story was first published in the 1950s is mind-boggling!

I wonder who is going to be the first here to read the new Harry Potter book.

Next book for me is Witches Abroad. I think i'm behind on my discworld reading still.

Just finished 'Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows'.
    J.K.Rowling did it again:
A congenial and gripping end to a great series.

Haven't posted here in a while even though I've been reading - nearly finished all the Discworld books, and thanks again for SP's putting me on to them.

Now reading Kazuo Ishiguro's Never Let Me Go. Quite interesting alternate reality tale, though marketed as serious fiction rather than genre.

I just finished "Lords of the North," by Bernard Cornwell. I enjoyed it thoroughly. Now I have to wait awhile to read the next one, which hasn't even been released yet. :(

Don't know what to read next. :hmm:

Dins - Try Cornwell's Grail series. The first one is the _Archer's Tale_, and it is set during the Hundred Years War.

NP, Dinsdale. The next Cornwell Saxon book will be out early next year; it's title is Sword Song. You can probably pre-order it from Amazon through SP. :)

Heroes Die - Matthew Woodring Stover

Well, uh, it's really violent. Still too early to decide whether it's actually good.

Finished 'If Chins Could Kill', also finsihed 'The Lies of Locke Lamora' by Scott Lynch (I think). Very good books both, and I;d highly recommend them both.

Now reading 'Polgara the Sorceress'- David and Leigh Eddings
