To Kill a Mockingbird is a moving and powerful story, well worth reading at any age.

One of the few compulsory English novels I liked for my O'level all those years ago.

It certainly deserves better than a yawn in my opinion.

Chinua Achebe 'Things fall apart'. Pretty interesting but not really any heights of literature imo.

Dragons of Autumn Twilight, first book in the Chronicles Trilogy based in the Dragonlance D&D campaign setting.

I am a Forgotten Realms fan, but my girlfriend gave me: Chronicles Trilogy, Legends Trilogy, Heroes Trilogy, and Meetings Sextet for Christmas. She said she got the whole lot for $10.00 at a garage sell and wasn't sure if they were the same kind of books that I was reading, but at that price couldn't pass them up.

I decided to read them just to give them a chance and to make her feel better about her purchase :)

So far Dragons of Autumn Twilight isn't that bad, I think she got her moneys worth.

I just bought all 16 Harpers books for 30 bucks though, so once they arive I guess I'll have to set DL aside for a while.
