Well, acording to Dorotea (the developper of Redemption mod) her Longer road Redemption, c'est-a-dire full time ToB Irenicus will be out in August. What I'd like to see in the future is a review of that ambititious mod.. if you want to...

please don't kill me. I'm just proposing... :)

Check the Bodies' forum is at TeamBG and its homepage is hosted by TeamBG either. However, the mod itself is developed by CBisson and by some other people not related to TeamBG, so I can't see your point. The quality of a mod depends on its developers primarily...

It's always nice to hear the viewpoint of more than one person. Easier to get a well-rounded idea of the mod in question that way.

After all, you wouldn't buy a car based on one person's opinion of it, would you?

Yeah but so many reviews would cause confusion, even chaos. Certainly, as we're people, no review is entirely objective, and we have to accept this. But reviews submitted here are made by experienced players and their quality approves their right to be in this section. In my opinion, the mod reviewers here have done their work well so far.

    Why, thank you Baronius :)

And other than that, you'd get everyone and their dog writing reviews that really don't accomplish much. This way the forum is more organized and at least an attempt at proffesionalism.

Oh, and Baron, thanks for the CTB info. I thought it was a product of TBG. Guess not.

Game be gone? WFT? Do you mean Dungeon-B-Gone? If so, then there already is a review posted.

No, Game Be Gone is a joke. It does what you imagine it would do.

If you want to, I can make one review of Redemption (I mean the current version of Dorotea). I don't promise it will be a gem, but... it will still be something...

I created GbG (and also BG1-GbG). They are both available from my TBG member page:
    http://www.teambg.net/~igi/

I would appreciate a review of either mod, if you could get around to it. There are versions planned for BGT, BP-BGT, IWD and IWDII etc

I am working on a webpage for GbG, atm I just want to add some screenshots of the beta, showing some of the banter and dialogs, and also any new spells.
The website is at: ( http://www.mcwrench.com/index.php?path=/ie/mods/GbG ) though it isnt finished.

    Thanks.

JC: Please dont state that my mods as jokes. In your opinion they are, please bear that in mind.

    This isn't right at all.

I wrote that GBG was "a deeply moving experience, a tour-de-force of the digital medium, a fresh exploration of Man's unique role in the universe. At its completion, I cried more than when Floyd died."

    Who edited my post?

This message is parody. I am sure there is nothing wrong with SP security.

i might be able to help review some mods, because i have a lot of mods installed on my Baldur's Gate: TOB, but the only problem is i have just started a new game and cause i have a lot of mods it will take me a much longer time getting through the game and also i cant play BG2 as often as i would like, but i will list my mods and ill see what i can do, but dont expect anything very soon okay:
    Non-WEIDU Mods:
    only one: Tortured Souls

    WEIDU Mods:
    Improved Battles
    Tactics
Kelsey (but only in SOA dont ask why i didnt get him in TOB)
    Azengaard Tactical Encounter
    Solaufein
    Ascension
    Unfinished Business
    Expanded Thief Stronghold
    Check the Bodies
    Spellhold Lich
    Improved Asylum
Iron Modder Pack (2003): The Last Mug of Ale
    Oversight
    Rogue Rebalancing Pack
    Drow Innate Abilities
    The Unusual Oddities Shop
    The Magnificent Magic Store
Sorcerers Place Stuff (items and kits)
    Acid Elementalist Kit
Underrepresented Items from Icewind Dale 2 (which translates to very overpowered items from IWD 2, i havnt used them, but i have seen some in the readme and supposedly most of them are +5 or better. And they also cost an extremely ridiculous amount of gold or so it says)

Note: i am not sure if these mods will stuff up my game, because there is so many of them and they might interfere with each other, but i will see for any bugs as i play, i am open to reviews, but i warn you it will take a while

Another Note: i dont think their is any point reviewing the really small mods, Eg: Spellhold Lich, but mainly the bigger ones or more important ones that add more depth into the game.

I wouldn't mind seeing reviews of BG2 NPC mods, like Kelsey or Solaufein.

There already *is* a review of the Solufein mod.

I'd like a Kelsey one myself as I've not tried him yet and I'm curious as to what he's like.

I woulden't mind a reveiw of any NPC mod that hasn't been covered yet really, NPC's can add a lot or take (Valen) from the experience, and since there is a whole plethora of them out there it's hard to pick anything worthwhile, though I've tried and recomend the Kiara NPC mod, but it may not be suitable for minors.

After reading the Tashia review, my interest in the Kelsey mod has certainly been perked...
