When I say rest, it removes the negative value they may have from extended time being awake.

I have a weird(?) thing for even numbers, so I usually rent a room that leaves my gold to a nice even ten, say 3728->best room->3720. If that isn't possible I might aim to a 5-ending figure.. Obsession? Maybe, especially when I realized that I tend to buy arrows etc. with the same principle.

    Depends on the party.

If I got healers and they can heal up the party before sleeping then I go with the cheapest rooms.

In my last game I was evil and only had Vicky.
But I had Kagain, the dwarf fighter whos Con of 20 gave regeneration.
And my evil PC, a thief (dualed from a fighter), could blast Kagain with the spell that sucked some HP from him and give it to me.

I almost always rent the cheapest. I admit it, I'm a total miser. Of course, if they'll let me, I'll sleep outdoors to save a few coins (The Friendly Arm allows this and I use it to full advantage!).

I can understand Kullervo's like of even numbers. I swap around arrows so that they always have 20 or 40 in a stack and sell (or drop) the extra. So he's not alone in his eccentricity. :)

Har har...I had Hard Times mod for TuTu and it greatly increases the costs of rooms. Royal rooms costed 275gp and I still used them more often than not. (until I saved enough gold to show off that robe of arch-magi that is!)

[IMG] I always solo this game and have no problems with money but I never sleep at inns. Even 1 gp seems too much for me. :money:
