I'm not sure any spells (Lower Resist spells, poison, bleeding, wounding, and pure damage aside) are cumulative. Otherwise the game would be far too easy. Notify me if I'm missing something in those parenthesis, but that would be far too easy to kill enemies like that. Demogorgon...Finger of Death...cheezy.

At any rate, it's easy enough to kill dragons without stackable Greater Malison. Here's my strategy...

    Spell Trigger:
    Lower Resist
    Lower Resist
    Greater Malison

Fire Spell Trigger. Fire Finger of Death. Watch dragon die.

AFAIK lower resistance is cumulative. Geez I sure hope so, anyway.

Nope. But swords work a lot better than they used to in SoA.

lower resistance IS cumulative in SoA and ToB. Though you should use pierce magic instead of lower resistance, get rid of some of those spell protections as well.

In response to an earlier post, the level 1 cleric spell "Doom" definately stacks with itself. There is a limit to how bad you can make someone's resists, though - I don't think you can take them above 20. I haven't found a limit for THAC0, though (which Doom also damages). I've seen Minsc with a base THAC0 of 27 after being hit by 9 odd Dooms.
