    While I agree that the lack of choice might not indicate evil, I do think it also might indicate evil, depending on how one defines evil. Personally, I feel that removing someone's will is one of the most evil things you can do (in Harry Potter, I always felt that the Imperius was the worst of the Unforgivables, for example, and I was appalled at how easy the trio used it against the goblin . . . but that's way off topic from Dragon Age), but I can see where others wouldn't. I just don't think you can argue that she's *definitely* not evil (just as I probably can't argue that she's definitely evil, unless the life-draining thing is happening, which we should know soon).
