What a game (the last 10 minutes at least). Great game, too bad we had to wait to this game to see a good match.
    Noce goals too.
Congratulation Rutkowski, I really wanted Italy to win, so in the final can lose to France :D

Italy won't loose against France. France have three or four decent players, Italy have NO bad players, and if Nesta returns, they'll be invincible in the back.

[IMG] ****, the most disgusting team ever (yes I am anti-italian, as far as football is concerned)is in the final. Now I just hope that Zinedin's swan song will make Italians cry for the next decade.

Even though i wish Italy everything BUT succes, i can't help having a bit of a feeling of satisfaction. Must be because of all the "ohne Holland fahren wir nach Berlin" chanting i've heard lately. :D

Spain and Brazil did not play even close to what they could, Italy did today, and if they play anything remotely like that against France, France will not stand a chance.

Italy delivered a great game today, solid defense and quick attacks.

+ they had the guts to go all offensive while we were already preparing for shootouts. Again its the will to win and giving 100% until the end that decided this game.

They deserve to win the wc.

it Was great fun to watch, now excuse me, must head back to party ^^

Is it just me or did almost every little foul resulted in an Italian player lying on the field?

@Shortnamed: for what I think is fair and in my deserving points table, after the game against Australia, Italy DON'T deserve to win the cup, but hey, that's just me.

Italy should have gone out against Australia, that's for sure, but they didn't and now look where they are. Anything can happen.

I'm ****ing serious, I'm tired of everyone whining that Australia lost due to a penalty that Italy may or may not deserve. Italy DID control the game, Australia was never once close to scoring, and that was with one man DOWN due to an OUTRAGEOUS red card. Italy had the game, they are the masters of controlling a game where the opponent have the ball more, it's what they do.

Australia lost, USA lost, get ****ing over it. Italy won against Ukraine and Germany, and therefore they DO deserve their spot in the final.

    what a game that was.

too bad for germanyland; tho the ities deserved the win ( ), imo the germans would have won on penalties had they held out another 2 minutes...

I don't dispute the fact that Italy have played very well and do deserve to be in the finals of the World Cup...HOWEVER...

I still say Italy should have gone out against Australia... :p And because of the complete unfairness of this match, and because I was a very very very strong supporter of Australia in this World Cup I desperately hope Italy get the stuffing knocked out of them in the finals...I don't care if its France or Portugal doing it...
