Right? According to whom? The Arthurian Legends are a fabrication, by numerous authors.

I guess the knights wore +1 Nimble Full Plates, then? Wow, Merlin must have had some item creation feats. ;)

Also, Arthurs alleged father, King Uther, existed. He lived in the very early middle age. So you have at least one real person living in a time where Plate Armor didn't exist.

It annoyes me when Merlin and Arthur have English or American accents. It should be Welsh.

@ Fabius Maximus - I watch a lot of German movies and 'Das Experiment' was the first movie I have seen the sexy Andrea in.

Yes, according to the earliest legends. But most of the legends, those involving the knights of the Round Table, were crafted later, during the High Middle Ages, particularly in France as part of the Court of Love. They would have worn a little plate, but mostly mail during that period. But the legends have never stopped evolving, even well into the previous century (TH White and Steinbeck). Nevertheless, I still don't believe that there is a particular right or wrong method for depicting a group of knights who never existed in the first place.

Last night was not good for me, I just saw what probably is the worst movie I've seen in my life. It has dialogues like:

Bad guy: I have 700 armed men here with me. What do you possibly think you can do to them?
    Heroine: I can kill them.

Bad guy: What are you thinking. We are just as fast and as strong as you are.
Heroine: But you are not as pissed as I am.

    Some guy: Are you mental?

The word "logic" simply does not exists in this movie at all.

The incredible action scenes actually leaves you with your jaws dropping. Jaws dropping not in awe of how great and fluidly it was done but rather dumbfounded and unable to scream despite the incredible urge to cry in disgust at the lack of any real intelligence.

The story and the plot. Watch it 10 times and I bet you still can't find either.

Acting... well, let me put it this way. After watching it, I just had to pop in another DVD in the hope that I will forget it. I happen to put in 16 Blocks. And after watching the awful movie, I bet you would want to nominate Bruce Willis as Best Actor for the Oscar, even Mos Def as Best Supporting Actor... heck! You might even consider 16 Blocks as the Best Picture. That is how bad that awful movie was.

The only good thing is that the heroine was incredibly beautiful and sexy. I'm even conviced that skin tight spandex and leather outfits were invented just for her.

    The awful movie... ULTRAVIOLET.

Napolean Dynamite - I believed the hype and was very disappointed.

Angelas Ashes - If I wanted to watch people jerk off to sheep, I would take a trip to rural Wales.

Dungeons and Dragons: The Elemental Might.
The special effects were fine but the acting was so fake. Can those script writers say plot? I think not.

For a D&D movie, they should do a Dragon Lance kinda thing. Take great RPG players and do a campaing. You then take the story that developped and make a movie out of it. It'd be 100 times better than any of the Dungeon movies...

There are a lot of horrible movies out there, but I don't think "Attack of the Killer Tomatoes" should be included. Why? It's become a cult classic as an atrocious film and therefor good because of its awfulness. People watch it so that they can laugh at how bad it is.

The other movies listed are not watched because the viewer wants to see a bad movie.

I'll have to disagree - Spaceballs was a great parody and made me laugh my ass off big time.

Indeed, Attack is a cult classic... just like Brain Dead.

Contact...i thought it was an interresting movie about first contact with an alien race...it turned out not to be.

Titanic .for a long time it was on my list of movies starting with T and ending with itanic i wouldn't see. but a gf forced me. 3hours waste of time.

First Knight. got to be the worst version of the king arthur myth ever, they all wore identically plate and swords, and does small crossbows, that works even when they are soaked, god that sucked.

on the other hand i cant undestand people criticising Kruhll, sin city and attack of the killer tomatoes or return of the killer tomatoes for that mather.
Edit: oh and i loved batman begins and excalibur.

Oh, yeah, I hear you. My own ex did the same thing, and she kept sobbing until the end of the damn thing. On the plus side, I was on a mushroom buzz so instead of watching the damn movie I giggled like a moron. :shake: :shake: :shake: :shake:

Contact and Anaconda are horrible, I concur...
