Kit, the fact that she's willing to meet with you at all is proof that she's not ready to be marrying someone else. She's still too wrapped up in her emotions with you.

I feel (just a little) sorry for the other guy. He just married someone who doesn't even have the emotional capacity to be fully committed to him. Marriage can be difficult enough even when both parties are fully committed. I was probably too generous in giving them a year.

 

Kit, I would argue that the best thing to do is move on and forget about her. Count your blessings that you have that opportunity. I am stuck dealing with my ex for the rest of my life because we had kids together. So the torment never ends for me, and in fact it's worse as I watch my children being raised completely without my input and there's not a <snipping> thing I can do about it.

Go find a girl who shares your viewsd and lifestyle, and live the high life, my friend, whatever you envision that life as being.

 

Agreed, and if you find her, remember, there's no rush to bring rings and contracts into it. Things tend to get more complicated afterwards. Better yet, play the field for a while.

 

Kit, if you want my advice, and you want to piss her off, you could always start an affair with her husband.

On a different note, daaaamn, that was one hell of an evening. The double-toppings pizza was just awesome. What a rush, and what a trip. And I think after all the experimenting, it's safe to say the guys and myself are now in the Industrial camp... that's right, moving away from the metal roots to explore new grounds.

 

My 5 year high school reunion party ended a few hours ago.

Nothing seemed to have really changed (other then one of my friends dyed her hair red and her twin sister is having a baby ).
I still only knew the words for 1 song out of 5.
I still can't dance.
My friends still backed me up every step of the way.

Nothing is forever, but I am happy. We are still the same.

I'm in shock. My favourite teacher from secondry school has died. The guy was my drama teacher and totally amazing!

My neighbors are all big a-holes! Why? Because I have been told that I am an a-hole for kicking a cat. Now wait! Before you think of me as a jerk, listen please. I have a mother cat and her litter of 4 kittens squatting in my woodpile underneath a lean-to of my garage. My wife and 2 yr old love the cats now and feed them regularly. My neighbor has a big old nasty Tom that lurks outside all of the time. He came into my yard and was going after some of the kittens yesterday morning. So I ran up to him and kicked him about 20 yards or more. I must of hurt him because his is visibly limping now. Hey, I was trying ot save a kitten, as the Tom has killed other cats in our street previously and is very nasty. I was called a jerk, an a-hole and giving the finger to by my neighbor's household for doing this. Am I wrong? Am I a bad man? I think not. Screw 'em all.
