Elves, no doubt of that... especially the Tolkien elves and the Drow elves.

What can I say? I like diversity. And reading Silmarillion again and again... :p

[IMG] From mythical races I find elves and the dragons the most interesting; like most of us do. All sub-races included, 'course.

For some reason, I've always opted for Human. Despite human's being the least unique in a sense, i suppose I've opted for them as they tend to be the main race.

In terms of othe races, I've always liked Elves, or even better half-elven peoples

Tolkien Elves. And the reason is exactly same that RotKU said. Actually, I like all races that Tolkien made much more than their cousins in other books.

Well how about a casual and nice little human being?... nah! I'd pick dwarves for the funny language and cool axes & hammers. Oh, and treefolk too! (like the Ents in LotR)

Yep...dwarves are great. I love to play them.

[IMG] Oh cruel thread! Why must thee pose such a damn hard question?

I'd have to list at least 17 races to illistrate my favourites!

And most of them are of my own creation and evolution, to fit into the DI ruleset I've made and also express what I deem worthy of fantasy races.

@8people: I beg thy forgiveness lady, for I did nay do it to smite thee in such a cruel way. Yet I did it as a tribute to the marvelous site that is Sorcerer's Place...

*I'm glad I could be a part of your little play* /Mook the Shadow Thief :p (or something like that)

[IMG] Humans beat wimpy elves and stupid dwarves anyday. They're smarter than orcs.

With one free feat at level 1 and 1 bonus skill point every level along with unrestricted multi-classing, humans beat every other fantasy race! Yes, we ARE the masters of the world!

(What? The whole world is NOT based on D&D 3rd ed?)

Hmm, very hard question, I have no real favourites. A few of my favourites, especially things with wings! Y@Y! for wings!

Dragons, and the many different types.
    Gryphons, Wings!
    Pegasus and Unicorns.

And a couple of others... Hell, more like a tonne of others.

My favourite race to play would either be elves, and the many subraces, like moon and drow.

Or perhaps Halflings, which are just fun to roleplay. :p

    (My warped little world.)

    [IMG] Ameorn - you're funny ;)

I suppose I like the Drow a lot. But also the DI Harpies and Banshees demand respect!

Hmm, Zebredum are cool as are Tauros.

Perhaps the Snake Miz or Molluscatent? Or even Bunyips!

    Devils or Fire Dea?

    Catalinks? Dracons? Fey or Sidhe?

    Butterfleet, Gorgons or Ostrichk?
