  1. This door leads back out to Serpent's Crown at #8.

  2. Audience with the QueenThe first time you step into the Palace, you'll wind up here in the throne room. You'll become part of an argument unfolding between the Queen of the Huana, Onekaza II, Prince Aruihi, Nirro Canta Nicese of the Vailian Trading Company and Hazanui Karu of the Royal Deadfire Company. The argument itself marks the completion of The Veins of Eora Quest, and the beginning of a new Main Quest, A Distant Light.

    Two new streams of Faction Quests will begin was well. Hazanui Karu will invite you to see her in the Brass Citadel. This starts the The Brass Empire Quest.

    Maia at this point becomes a joinable companion.

    Nirro Canta Nicese will likewise extend an invitation to see him in the Vailian Trading Company Headquarters. This starts the Quest called For the Republics.

    As for Pallegina as a joinable companion, that depends on your Pillars of Eternity 1 history. If she failed her mission to the Ducs, you'll first have to see her at Queen's Berth, have the audience with the Queen here, and then recruit her at the Vailian Trading Company Headquarters. If she fulfilled her mission to the Ducs, she will join you here after the audience with the Queen.

  3. Here is Prince Aruihi. He offers Trade Secrets and then The Last Sanctuary as Huana Faction Quests.

    He is also one of the individuals who can offer the Delver's Row Task.

  4. Here is Atepu. He can give information on the location of an island with a ruin named Motare O Kozi, but only after The Last Sanctuary Quest has started.

  5. Here is Granis Yirgar. He can provide your Watcher character with Granis Yirgar's Training (+1 Athletics, +1 Survival) for 3,000cp.

  6. These stairs lead to the upper floor of the Kahanga Palace at #1.

  7. These stairs lead to the upper floor of the Kahanga Palace at #2.
