Here is Balthazar's throne. He engages you in conversation. Seems his plan was to kill off all the other Bhaalspawn and then commit suicide, thus preventing Bhaal from rising again. But all conversation paths end, of course, in fisticuffs.
Balthazar has the standard Monk abilities (Stunning Blow, Quivering Palm) in addition to a number of other abilities (from Dave Milward's walkthrough – available from Sorcerer's Place):
Strength of 22.
Regenerates 6 hit points per second.
Shadow Stance (Invisibility).
Shadow Kick (works like Smite).
Second Wind (Dimension Door + Heal in one blow).
Solar Stance (a Sunfire spell that also kicks opponents back).
Lunar Stance (a spell trigger that releases Bigby's Crushing Hand, Magic Missiles, and Greater Malison at once).
The best way to finish him off is to summon in a Deva, have your best fighters sit all over him with Greater Whirlwind attacks, and make sure one of your mages or clerics keeps True Seeing active. With a bit of luck, this will be over in seconds.
