These foes should certainly be beatable enough for you by now. But do keep in mind that you can rest by expending Camping Supplies from this point onwards. You will no longer have the option of going to a nearby inn to rest up. That means you have to manage your resources through this and the next dungeon so that hopefully you're fully rested just before starting your final battle with Thaos.
It therefore helps to keep track of where available Camping Supplies are. Here in Breith Eaman there will be Camping Supplies in the hidden niches at #2 and #3, and in the debris pile at #10.
Here is where you will engage in a prolonged conversation with the spirit of the condemned apostate named Iovara, who was tortured to death by Thaos for trying to spread word that the Gods are actually artificial beings created by ancient Engwithan animancers. Aggressive, Benevolent, Cruel, Honest and Stoic replies are possible very early in the conversation.
You also gain the Steps to the Wheel power, an area of effect attack that affects only enemies, and will both Paralyze and Sicken them.
Lastly, you have to decide what to do with her spirit. You can leave her in her Adra soul prison, or you can destroy her spirit. Another option is to free her spirit from her prison and send her back to the Wheel. She absolutely does not want this, since in her view it will render her previous struggles and martyrdom meaningless. In fact, doing so will give you a full point in Cruel disposition, even if you had never previously selected Cruel dialogue responses beforehand.
Sun in Shadow itself will be pretty dark and difficult to see your way around in. However, you will use your Watcher powers to illuminate the area once reach the Walk of Souls at #4.
At #9 and #15 are other places where you can use your Watcher powers to illuminate the area even further. However, doing so in each instance results in you getting attacked by several Engwithan Shades as well as a Shadow Drake. They all leave behind Spirit Residues when killed.
An avatar of the deity named Wael will speak to you at #11 if you have previously completed The Parable of Wael task in a way that the scroll was lost to the Priests of Wael (and therefore to Wael's own satisfaction). Rational and Stoic replies are available during the conversation.
Wael will ask what you want to do with the souls that Thaos has stolen. If you want a boon talent from Wael, then it is best to avoid indicating that you have previously accepted a request and boon from another deity during the Council of Stars quest.
He will subsequently make himself clear that he would like you to scatter those souls to completely random destinations that will be unknown to mortals and deities alike, including himself. If you previously avoided indicating acceptance of a boon from another deity, you can now commit to Wael's request. He in turn will grant you the Wael's Boon talent (+1 Intellect, +10 Defense against Confusion).
Even if you indicate that you have accepted a boon from a different deity, Wael's request will still be open. You can still scatter the souls to his pleasing at the end of the game. However, you remain with the boon granted to you by a previously deity. If you scatter the souls for Wael in this circumstance, such will most certainly be considered betrayal by the deity who previously sponsored you once the endgame epilogue plays out.
If you find yourself in need of Camping Supplies, then you can jump across the broken bridge at #12 during a scripted interaction. However, it is very likely that the party member with the lowest Athletics score will sustain an injury. The jump leads across the chasm to #13, and vice versa.
Reaching the point at #24 marks the official end of the quest, and the beginning of your final battle against Thaos, but I'll nonetheless cover the rest of the game to its conclusion.
A prolonged conversation ensues whereby Thaos explains his agenda. A fight is inevitable though. He'll knock the entire party off its feat, and then plead for Woedica's aid. She in turn empowers and animates the two huge statues behind the party, Woedica's Judge and Woedica's Headsman.
Don't bother attacking Thaos, at least not in full force, just yet. If you bring him to half of his Endurance, he'll end up on his knees but invulnerable to any further harm. That will force you to finish off one of the statues before Thaos can be damaged again. In other words, you need to take out the two statues first before Thaos can be defeated for good.
And yet Thaos is himself a very powerful spellcaster, easily capable of rendering himself nigh-invulnerable with self-buffs, or taking out multiple party members or bringing them to near death with a single offensive spell. His natural defenses are also very high. That means you can try a debilitating spell like Concelhaut's Crushing Doom, but don't cross your fingers that will get Thaos off his game to any signficant degree.
An approach that I like is to either have a character with very high defenses stay on top of him to keep him occupied, or throw summons on top of him (having multiple figurines here is helpful) to soak up his spells and keep him occupied, or both. Meanwhile, have the rest of the party take out each statue as quickly as possible, one at a time.
Also, any buffs you can put up for yourself in a pinch, especially buffs that increase your defenses and Attack Speed, you should put as soon as you can.
Once his statues fall, go all out for him to end the battle and win the game.
Once he falls, you have a decision to make with respect to the fate of his soul. Your options are:
Return his soul to the Wheel for reincarnation.
Utterly destroy his soul permanently.
Banish his soul to Breith Eaman, just as Iovara's had been.
Destroy all of his memories so that even should he reincarnate, he cannot Awaken and resume his previous agenda.
As far as I can tell, none of these choices have any consequences for what's left of the game. They MAY however become significant if you import your savegame into the upcoming sequel.
As you approach #25, Skaen will speak to you, with Woedica in the background. He offers the opportunity to take Thaos' place as Woedica's greatest and immortal servant, in return for you fulfilling Thaos' original objective of using the souls to empower Woedica. If you agree, you will get Skaen's Boon (+1 Dexterity, +1 Stealth), which replaces any Boon you may have previously received during the Council of Stars quest. The boon is useless now since there's literally no one left to fight. But perhaps it can be imported into the upcoming sequel?
Click on the machine at #26 and you will now decide the fate of Thaos' souls. Your choices are:
Send them back to the Wheel (Berath's preference)
Return the souls to their original bodies (Hylea's preference)
Destroy the souls utterly (Rymrgand's preference)
Distribute the souls to the remaining people of Dyrwood (Galawain's preference)
Give the souls to Woedic to empower her (hers and Skaen's preference)
Disperse the souls to unknown destinations (Wael's preference)
Note that if you previously committed to one of these course of action during the Council of Stars quest but then make a choice here that is different from what your sponsoring deity preferred, that will affect the endgame epilogue in the form of your sponsoring deity taking it out on the people of Dyrwood.
Once you've made your choice, an engame epilogue will play out reflecting choices you made on numerous matters. Examples include Lord Raedric, your companions, how you dealt with the Eyeless, and so on.
